AMPO POYAM VALVES is currently supplying more than 2,550 highly engineered ball, butterfly, gate, globe, and check valves for the new Nong Fab LNG receiving terminal project, which will be located in Rayong province, in the south-east of Thailand. The plant, with two storage tanks, a 7.5 mtpa re-gasification facility, and a long trestle marine jetty, will have a production capacity of 5 mpta of LNG and will be operated by PTT LNG Company Limited, Thailand’s national oil & gas company. The Nong Fab regasification terminal will have the longest jetty for LNG in the world, one of the biggest LNG tanks worldwide, and the longest subsea tunnel constructed by using the jacking methodology. The engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of this project is being led by SPCC, a joint venture between Saipem and CTCI, some of the main worldwide EPCs in the development of major projects in the energy sector.
For this receiving terminal AMPO POYAM VALVES has designed and manufactured more than 2,550 highly engineered LNG valves: cryogenic ball valves up to 42” and with the pressure varying from 150 lbs to 900 lbs, cryogenic butterfly valves up to 42” and cryogenic and non-cryogenic gate, globe and check valves.
