TEADIT® PL 100 listed on IGR

TEADIT® PL100 gasket sheet, produced from virgin PTFE resin filled with hollow glass micro spheres, has been added to the list of approved products in the IGR (Interest Group for Technical Regulations e.V.). The product, an easy substitute to TFM 4105 (modified PTFE compound), is now available for those in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry to view alongside other approved products that meet regulations and exceed expectations.

TEADIT® PL 100 is a universal gasket material, with high mechanical strength and stress retention value. Manufactured by a unique process that provides bidirectional fibrillation, this product overcomes creep relaxation and cold flow problems associated with skived or molded PTFE sheets. The excellent malleability of TEADIT® PL 100 makes repairing slightly damaged or small irregularities of the sealing area unnecessary.

PL 100 is suitable for service with a variety of fluids, including hydrocarbons, making it a great fit for this listing and this industry. It is chemically inert against all substances, including the most aggressive acids and lyes.

PL 100 is now listed for end users to view and use, alongside TEADIT® 28 LS-LE, a high pure ePTFE gasket with a diffusion barrier. The IGR, founded in 2007, is an association of various companies, aiming to preserve, share, and jointly develop the know-how built up by the chemical and pharmaceutical industry over more than 130 years.
