The new 1/8 DIN sized PReview 5714 display from Paragon Alliance measures 48mm by 96mm, and is designed to show digital current, voltage signals, ohmic resistance and all temperature indications. The display is suitable for applications in the following industries: marine, water treatment, power, heat, chemistry, energy supply. A new feature is the scrolling help text that guides the user step by step, securing a simple and correct configuration by use of the front keys. The dialogue between user and display is effected through the large 4-digit, 14-segment LED display. The 14-segment display can make use of the entire alphabet, optimising the visualisation of letters in the menu structure and thus the user understanding. Apart from the digital indication of input values and alarm information, 2 yellow front LEDs indicate the relay status. The following display parameters can be configured: input type, output signal, cable compensation in connection with Pt100 sensors, relay functions such as trip amplifier, sensor and cable error detection, position reading of valves, actuators and level sensors through potentiometer input.
