Gasket International SpA has designed and successfully tested in the customer’s testing facility the first 2in 2500 class seat with Delta and Scraper ring. Fourteen step testing procedures have been conducted on 6 valves equipped with this new generation seat retainers up to 80psig, with no leakage on the valve and no visible deformation on elastomeric and thermoplastic inserts. The existing “Delta+Scraper ring” design, with patent pending by Gasket International SpA, was developed up to 24in and 1500 class. The company’s next challenge is to test the new design for sizes beyond 2in.
