The new Series A-5000 3 way shut-off valve from Dwyer Instruments is constructed of solid gray PVC with Buna-N seals and has a rotating flag handle. The Series A-5000 is designed for air and compatible gases and can withstand operating pressure of 125 psi and a max temperature of 140F. The handle has 180 degree rotation and lies directly over the open port, so when it is rotated 90 degrees from either port, flow is shut off to both outlet ports. Since the bottom port on the valve is common, Series A-5000 can be used as diverter or selecting valve. These valves can be used to conveniently hook 3 instruments together, as well as testing various gages and transmitters.
