Limitorque multi-turn pneumatic actuator

Pictured is a Limitorque model SMBG pneumatic multi-turn actuator, this unit has been in service for over 40 years at a major facility. The actuator has come back to the repair facility for inspection and service and new protective coatings prior to being fitted to a new gate valve. The SMBG is based on the Limitorque SMB electric actuator series introduced in the 1960s, whilst the electric version is still available today the pneumatic version has been superseded by the L270 series.
