IMI Critical Engineering showcased its hydrogen capabilities at the H2 MEET tradeshow in South Korea. IMI’s stand showcased the portfolios and solutions that the company has been developing across the hydrogen value chain, from hydrogen production to utilisation. The hydrogen portfolio included water electrolysis, valves for liquid hydrogen, parts for hydrogen refuelling stations, and hydrogen fuel cells. IMI Critical Engineering also recently launched the IMI VIVO Electrolyser, a packaged solution for generating green hydrogen.
The IMI VIVO Electrolyser uses proton exchange membrane technology to transform water into hydrogen, using renewable electricity as an energy source. This ‘turnkey’ solution includes the electrolyser complete with a water treatment unit, DC rectifier, hydrogen filtering, and a storage system. One of the UK’s leading universities recently ordered the IMI VIVO Electrolyser to generate green hydrogen to produce aviation fuels.
