HCS Group retains EcoVadis Gold award

HCS Group, an international supplier of solutions for high-value hydrocarbon specialties has retained its Gold status with EcoVadis, the Corporate Social Responsibility agency, for the third consecutive year. “Receiving the EcoVadis Gold award means a lot to us,” explains Henrik Krüpper, Chief Executive Officer of HCS Group, and adds: “Sustainability is not only firmly anchored in our corporate strategy, but is actively lived. With the support of our Sustainability team, our business units and operations teams are continuously looking for new potentials, projects, and opportunities to further reduce CO2 emissions, manufacture more sustainably and expand our renewable products and solutions portfolio. The independent EcoVadis award recognises our endeavours and confirms to our customers and partners that they have a responsible and trustworthy supplier at their side.”

In recent years, HCS Group has invested substantially in sustainability forming a dedicated Sustainability expert team, expanding technical services, and developing resources driving the growth of its sustainable portfolio. The investment in a state-of-the-art hydrogenation facility allows the processing of a wide range of renewable raw materials. The company has changed to certified renewable power and achieved ISCC EU and ISCC PLUS certification (International Sustainability and Carbon Certification).
