Australian built-to-order limitorque actuator

Frank Busse performing some finishing touches after building this unit for a local power generator in the Latrobe Valley. This unit is a Limitorque L120 with a worm gearbox with foot-mounting, built by Acrodyne Pty Ltd, the actuator has been built for modulating applications associated with a coal drying process operating a damper.

The actuator was built in Melbourne at the Quick Response Centre complete with: Dual wound voltage motor 208V & 415V/3/50Hz; RVDT loop powered non-contact feedback device; Custom built floor mounting arrangement; Pillow-block bearings; and Aluminum/bronze worm gear.
