At the sites of Muellheim, Ostfildern, Wenden, and Coswig, AUMA has introduced a new Warehouse Management and Control System. The project was implemented by the technological company Körber – the successive implementation took place within two years.
The objective of the implementation of this system was to modernise and optimise production and storage logistics. Now, processes are easier, more efficient, and transparent, and thanks to high handling comfort, staff-friendly. The provision times could be reduced by 15% for some parts. The new software solutions also play a crucial role for the company while striving to use resources more efficiently, reduce paper-based processes, and increase user acceptance.
