Carmela acquires Custom Energized Air Ltd

Carmela Industries Inc (Carmela) has announced its acquisition of all shares and assets of Custom Energized Air Ltd (‘CEA’).

Employing a team of 25 people, CEA provides expert technical sales and service to Western Canada’s air compressor, air preparation, and fluid power industry.

Carmela’s relationship with CEA began in 1998, as they have been a valued partner to the operating companies ‘Summit Valve and Controls’ and ‘Special Alloy Fabricators.’ Together, these three companies have designed, manufactured, and sold a portfolio of first-class products and solutions to clients in Western Canada and worldwide. It has been a harmonious and successful relationship.

Upon completing this acquisition, Brendan Romano, P.Eng, was appointed President of CEA. Mr. Romano has been with the Carmela group of companies for 16 years, and his skill set will be an asset to the team at CEA.

“CEA has a reputation as the ‘go-to’ company, helping clients with daily operations, long-term capital projects, and anything in between. Considering Carmela’s long history of providing solutions to the world of process valves and automation, CEA’s capabilities are a natural fit. We look forward to CEA’s continued growth and success.”

Michel Leroux, Chairman of the Board, Carmela Industries Inc.
