Spanish valve manufacturer Babcock Valves passed an inspection with Iberdrola and SGS teams.
The bench performing an hydrotest of a 3” 150# nuclear-qualified gate valve. The valve was designed in accordance with ASME Section III and actuated through an SMB Limitorque actuator, that offers excellent strength and durability, being a veteran of the nuclear power industry.
Inspection passed. After painting it will go directly to Cofrentes Nuclear Power Plant.
