SCF Partners (SCF) announces the formation of D2Zero, a decarbonisation and clean energy solutions platform. D2Zero combines differentiated technologies and solutions to help customers across a range of industries deliver on their decarbonisation and net zero objectives.
D2Zero is the combination of five existing UK portfolio companies with deep expertise in providing engineering and operations support services for critical energy infrastructure. Each has differentiated technologies and capabilities to decarbonise traditional energy whilst supporting the development of emerging energy sources. The companies within D2Zero provide a range of innovative decarbonisation capabilities that will accelerate customers’ progress towards achieving their decarbonization and net zero objectives – delivering decarbonisation towards zero (D2Zero). Together they create a business of scale with revenues in excess of GBP 500M and a committed workforce of 4,000 people.
The launch of D2Zero reflects SCF’s belief in the global imperative to reduce emissions, invest, and innovate to deliver the energy transition while sustaining a safe, affordable, and reliable energy supply. D2Zero’s activities are therefore focused on maintaining and decarbonising traditional energy sources, supporting the development and growth of transitional energy sources and related infrastructure, and innovating to deliver breakthroughs in transformational energy technologies.
