WITT unveils its latest advancement in the F53 valve series with the introduction of the F53Ndeto, featuring ¼” connections, providing dependable safeguarding against deflagrations and stable detonations of flammable gases and gas mixtures. This innovation serves a wide range of applications, including the oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical industries, as well as offering protection for sensors and laboratory equipment.
A notable feature of the F53Ndeto is its innovative temperature-sensitive element, designed to extinguish sustained flashbacks effectively, enhancing safety measures significantly. Its compact design, compliant with DIN EN ISO 16852, ensures effortless installation in any orientation, while obtaining EU type-approval from the German Federal Physical-Technical Institute PTB, in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX), underscores its reliability and adherence to industry standards.
Certified for nearly all flammable gases and gas mixtures, except when combined with oxygen, the F53Ndeto effectively prevents flashbacks utilizing a flame arrester crafted from sintered chrome-nickel steel. Additionally, this cutting-edge device incorporates an extra safety mechanism, whereby a temperature-sensitive element ensures the extinguishing of sustained flashbacks before reaching hazardous internal temperatures. If critical temperatures are exceeded, a plastic body melts, automatically shutting the valve and halting the gas supply, ensuring optimal user safety.
Constructed from high-quality stainless steel (1.4404) and equipped with seals made of FKM or FFKM, the F53Ndeto guarantees durability and reliability. Standardized with G1/4 female thread connections, this valve assures maximum safety, with a maximum permitted temperature of 60°C.
