DHM GROUP continues to strengthen its presence in the European market by launching a new project in partnership with the Slovenian engineering company Izoteh. Under the terms of the contract, DHM GROUP will supply a set of taphole drilling and mud gun machines for SAINT-GOBAIN’s new production facility in Spain.
The project is being implemented in the town of Azuqueca, near Madrid, at one of SAINT-GOBAIN’s insulation manufacturing sites. According to the company’s official press release, the investment in the project will total EUR 40M. The initiative aims to expand production capacity for mineral (stone) wool while supporting a transition to low-carbon technologies.
A key component of the modernisation will be the installation of an electric melting furnace, which will replace the existing fossil-fuel-based system. This upgrade will significantly reduce the plant’s carbon footprint and aligns with SAINT-GOBAIN’s sustainable development strategy.
DHM GROUP’s involvement in such a high-profile project reflects the strong trust placed in its engineering and technological expertise. With decades of experience, in-house innovations, and a track record of successful international projects, DHM GROUP continues to deliver complex industrial solutions that support sustainable growth in the global market.
