KITZ Corporation is strengthening its efforts to promote the use of renewable energy and reduce CO₂ emissions through initiatives in green hydrogen production and supply.
KITZ will launch its first proprietary Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) water electrolysis hydrogen generation unit, tailored to meet the needs of the Japanese market. This unit utilises PEM electrolysis technology to generate hydrogen from water, enabling a low-environmental-impact hydrogen supply when combined with renewable energy sources.
KITZ has long cultivated expertise in high-pressure and liquefied hydrogen valve technologies. Building on this foundation, it has established a comprehensive system capable of designing, manufacturing, and engineering hydrogen stations and supply equipment.
With the launch of the PEM Water Electrolysis Hydrogen Generation Unit, KITZ aims to go beyond simply supplying valves and support the infrastructure for hydrogen production, transportation, storage, and utilisation through offering total solutions that contribute to the realisation of a hydrogen society and the expansion of the hydrogen market.
