GF launches 565 butterfly valves

GF Building Flow Solutions Americas is proud to announce the launch of 565 Butterfly Valves, a strategic addition to the growing Uponor ChlorFIT® Schedule 80 Corzan® CPVC system. This launch marks a key milestone in the company’s expansion into a comprehensive valve offering that meets the demands of modern commercial construction, offering a lighter, more sustainable alternative to metal, without compromising performance or reliability.

Available in Gear Wafer, Gear Lug, Lever Wafer, and Lever Lug configurations, the 565 Butterfly Valves are designed for a wide range of applications, including domestic water, hydronic heating, chilled water, and industrial water. The flexible configurations of the valves support efficient system design across diverse commercial building types.

Key features and benefits include: Up to 60% lighter than metal valves, enabling faster, safer, and more efficient installations; Corrosion and chemical resistant materials for long-term durability in aggressive environments; Low operating torque with optimized disc and bushing design to provide effortless actuation, increasing valve service life; Peroxide-cured EPDM seals for greater reliability and longevity compared to sulfur-cured alternatives; Global compatibility, meeting ISO, DIN, and ANSI standards for new, retrofit, or service applications; and Available in 2″ to 12″ sizes for Gear Wafer and Gear Lug; 2″ to 8″ for Lever Wafer and Lever Lug.

The 565 Butterfly Valves complement the company’s industry-leading valve offering, which includes the ProPEX® Lead-Free (LF) Brass Transition Ball Valves launched earlier this year. This is a significant step in the development of a comprehensive flow control portfolio—delivering an integrated system approach designed to simplify specification, streamline installation, and maximize long-term value for engineers, contractors, and building owners.
