Emerson’s Rosemount™ 4051S Pressure Transmitter is designed to meet demanding industrial pressure measurement challenges, providing local, real-time control without the need for a separate device such as a programmable logic controller (PLC).
The transmitter features two configurable relay switches capable of delivering on/off control for pumps, motors, and other equipment. These switches can also generate alerts based on parameters including pressure, flow, totalized flow, level, volume, or module temperature.
Key features include advanced diagnostics for deeper insights into system performance. The loop integrity function continuously monitors the status of the entire electrical loop to detect potential failures, while plugged impulse line detection alerts plant personnel to take corrective action when needed. Built-in process intelligence further allows the transmitter to diagnose abnormal conditions such as cavitation, enhancing operational safety and reliability.
