GEMÜ has introduced the D41 diaphragm valve as part of its latest product generation, featuring EasyLock technology. This innovation allows maintenance in seconds, reduces complexity, and makes handling diaphragm valves significantly easier, reshaping the future of valve design.
The pneumatically operated GEMÜ D41 is designed for aseptic manufacturing applications. Its sealing concept uses the newly developed GEMÜ diaphragm, which hermetically separates the actuator from the working medium. The valve is installed entirely without loose components via a central gearbox.
EasyLock technology ensures reliable installation and uniform diaphragm compression. The actuator is fixed to the body via a bayonet fitting and centrally tensioned using an outer hexagon, eliminating loose components. This design simplifies actuator mounting, disassembly, commissioning, and diaphragm replacement.
The diaphragm itself features a bayonet pin for easy replacement, and the new seal system with fixed chambering eliminates the need for retightening. Optimized rolling behaviour enhances controllability, reduces stress on the diaphragm, and allows maintenance intervals to be tailored to specific applications, improving safety and precision in plants.
