GF has successfully closed the acquisition of VAG-Group, a global manufacturer and supplier of metal valve solutions for water utilities headquartered in Mannheim, Germany. The transaction, valued at approximately CHF 200 million, reinforces GF’s position in the infrastructure sector, with a particular focus on Europe and the Middle East.
VAG-Group’s portfolio of metal valves—critical components in utility water networks—strongly complements GF’s existing capabilities and opens additional opportunities in new industrial segments. Following the acquisition, VAG-Group will operate within GF’s Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions division.
This integration completes GF’s comprehensive infrastructure portfolio, which now spans pipes, fittings, valves, connection technology, stormwater management, and repair solutions, enabling GF to offer end-to-end solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
