Severn Glocon wins gas plant order

Severn Glocon has won the contract to supply more than 400 valves for two new gas processing plants in the Middle East. The multi-million pound order, one of the largest in the company’s history, involves ball, butterfly and globe control valves for plants being built for the Qatar Gas Petroleum Company by Korean main contractor Hyundai Engineering & Construction. Severn Glocon specialises in multi-labyrinth trim solutions for valves designed for critical and arduous applications. The company’s experience with severe-service valves was a significant factor in the award of the contract.
