Metso Automation, a leading developer of control and ESD valve technology and related products used in processing plants worldwide, has entered into a membership agreement with Trade-Ranger, the Internet marketplace launched by 14 leading energy and petrochemical companies. As a result, Metso Automation has become one of the first international control valve manufacturers to participate in the Trade-Ranger marketplace.
Under the agreement, Metso Automation will provide its key refining, petrochemical and energy industry customers with automated execution of their global supply agreements for control and automated valves. Trading via the marketplace promises to simplify the procurement process and lower the transaction costs for Metso Automations’ key customers.
