FMC sells subsea solutions offshore Brazil

FMC Technologies has announced that its FMC Energy Systems business has been
awarded contracts valued at USD 16 million to supply sub-sea production solutions for Petrobras and Halliburton KBR offshore Brazil. The Petrobras contract calls for the supply of 11 subsea trees, to be installed in the deepest parts of Petrobras’s Roncador and Albacora East
fields. The guidelineless trees, rated for a depth of 2000 metres, are scheduled for delivery starting in early 2003. The Halliburton KBR contract calls for the supply of a Pipeline End
Manifold and a Pipeline End Termination for the Barracuda and Caratinga fields. Delivery is scheduled for later this year. Halliburton Company is the engineering, procurement, installation and construction developer for the Barracuda and Caratinga development.
