Italian flow control specialist FCx Orton has secured a new order for valves in stainless steel and low carbon for one of the world’s largest LNG projects. The Bechtel Corporation has specified FCx Orton MV Series triple eccentric metal-seated valves for use in the Atlantic LNG project in Trinidad (Train 2 and Train 3). The valves to be supplied are up to Cl. 600 in both stainless and low carbon. It is the first major order since FCx Orton agreed a global supply contract with Bechtel. The company now plans to utilise MV Series products for all other appropriate applications on a world-wide basis.
