Following final confirmation of the acquisition of Dresser Equipment Groups from Halliburton Company by First Reserve Corporation, Odyssey Investment Partners and some members of the Board of Dresser Inc., a new company, Dresser Flow Control, has been formed to market the Dresser valve and ancillary product ranges. Familiar names such as Becker (gas industry valves), Consolidated (safety and safety relief valves), Grove (ball valves), Ledeen (actuators), Masoneilan (control valves, smart positioners and levels), Nil-cor (composite ball and butterfly valves), Texsteam (pumps and valves), TK Valve (ball valves) and Tom Wheatley (check valves) are now all Dresser Flow Control brands. The new company will also operate out of the established facilities in Skelmersdale (MR) sales) and Uxbridge (Contractors and key accounts) and under the existing sales management.
