This award was for the MRO (maintenance, repairs, and operating supplies) category. Annually, Celanese selects among 2900 global suppliers to present its prestigious supplier award in recognition of superior performance during the previous calendar year. Swagelok and its independent sales and service centres surpassed other suppliers in both administrative and commercial performance categories. Celanese has 30 production sites in 11 countries mainly located in North America, Europe and Asia. Winners excelled in the quality of goods, invoicing, on-time delivery, technical services and support, pricing competitiveness, innovative proposals, cost effectiveness and management communication, according to Celanese.
