Mogas Industries, Inc. has announced the newest addition to its RSVP family, the RSVP-UK .38 bore, metal-seated ball valve. This valve, designed for instrumentation, is used in power plants for traditional steam drain applications. Like many new MOGAS products, MOGAS engineered the RSVP-UK by partnering with a customer, who expressed a need for a lightweight valve used in traditional steam drain applications. MOGAS created the RSVP-UK. The valve is lightweight, but when it comes to steam isolation, the RSVP-UK is a heavyweight. Like the other valves in the RSVP family, the RSVP-UK is solidly constructed of the same materials, namely an Inconel 718 spring and Gr. 660 upset stem.
