Amot has introduced temperature control valves designed to be lighter and smaller than any
others, high-temperature dual-purpose engine exhaust valves and bearing temperature monitors to help avoid big-end engine bearing failure. The Amot G Valve industry-standard three-way temperature control valve is now 50% smaller in height than any typical comparative unit, and still highly robust despite its lightest ever design, giving users increased flexibility
of piping arrangements. It offers rapid and accurate regulation of fluid temperatures to 1000C with a maximum flow rate of 3000m3/hr, and is typically employed for fluid temperature control in large diesel and gas engines. Amot W Series exhaust gas control valves suit temperatures up to 600 degrees C in both wastegate and bypass applications on diesel and gas engines. These 90-degree butterfly valves can be fitted with electric or pneumatic actuators designed to withstand the most demanding environmental conditions, far in excess of classification society requirements.
