Subsea valve specialist plans growth

Scots subsea valve specialist Pacson Ltd (Carnoustie, Angus), has announced ambitious growth plans. It plans to double its 80-strong workforce over the next three years. A move to new premises is also being actively sought by the company in a bid to accommodate future growth. Executive director Keith Crawford aid: “Recently, our production line has been operating 24 hours a day and we need to at least double our floorspace or risk turning business away… We believe the market for made-to-order valves – specially engineered to suit demanding subsea applications -is growing as operators look to further exploit deepwater natural energy reserves. Pacson Ltd is well placed to capitalise on this demand.”
