Poyam wins stainless valve contracts

Poyam, the Spanish manufacturer of cryogenic valves, has recently been awarded with a series of orders for cryogenic valves for LNG business. RPCO Enterprises Limited, a joint venture between Chiyoda Corporation of Japan and Snamprogetti of Italy has awarded Poyam with the contract to supply more than 3500 cryogenic gate, globe and ball valves for Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Co. Ltd’s (RASGAS) LNG liquefying train 3 for a total amount over USD 8 million. Valve sizes are from 1/2″ to 42″ and ratings from 150 to 1500 lbs, in stainless steel material and with extended bonnets suitable for cryogenic service.
Poyam has also won from Kellogg joint venture a contract to supply more than 350 cryogenic ball valves for Woodside Energy Ltd’s Woodside phase 4 expansion project at Burrup peninsula, Washington, USA, for a total amount of USD 0.5 million. Valve sizes are from 2″ to 6″ and ratings from 150 to 600 lbs, in stainless steel material and with extended bonnets suitable for
cryogenic service.
