Spence Engineering Company (Walden, New York), has announced its new EZ Connection option for its threaded main valves. EZ Connections provide the simplicity of a union connection with the performance of a flanged connection. EZ Connections utilise a proven spiral wound gasket and are easily installed or removed by loosening a union nut, eliminating the need to spring the piping. EZ Connections are available on 1/2″ through 2″ threaded main valves in NPT, socketweld, and threaded by socketweld connections. They are the ideal compliment to the Spence Regulator.
