Groth Corporation complies with PED

Under the terms of the European Union’s Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, Groth Corporation (Stafford, Texas, USA) is authorised to apply the PED mark to four families of pressure and vacuum relief valves and the 3000 Series blanket gas regulators. The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) ensures that pressure equipment with a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) greater than 0.5 Barg meets established safety standards. Compliance is mandatory for all applicable equipment installed in the EU after 29 May 2002.
The following product families are marked: Model 1200A, 1220, 1260, 1300 – Pressure / Vacuum Relief Valves – weight-loaded; Model 1201B, 1221, 1223, 1261, 1301 – Pressure / Vacuum Relief Valves – spring loaded; Model 1400 Series – Pressure / Vacuum Relief Valves – pilot-operated; Model 1660 Series – Pressure / Vacuum Relief Valves – pilot-operated; Model 2100 – Pressure / Vacuum Relief Valves – spring loaded; Model 3011 UH – Blanket Gas Regulator.
