Baltpromarmatura (Russia) has introduced a new pinch valve for chemicals, aggressive and corrosive fluids, pulps, slurries, pastes, sand and cement, and other applications. The series 33a 23p is designed to increase reliability. The simplicity of a design makes it easy to replace the elastic rubber sleeve. The various rubber mixes used in the manufacture of sleeves allow the valves to be used for transportation of chemicals and mud-and-stone flows. The valve is also considered suitable for the food-processing industry.
