The HART® Communication Foundation (HCF) is seeking candidates for the 2003 HART Plant of the Year. The awards are presented annually by the HCF to recognise innovative,
cost-saving use of HART Communication in real-time industrial process plant applications world-wide. The deadline for nominations is 15 May. “We are looking for a plant that has taken the capabilities of HART instruments beyond configuration and calibration,” says HCF Executive Director Ron Helson. “Or a plant that is using real-time diagnostics and process variables of HART-enabled devices with its control and information systems.”
Users can nominate themselves or suppliers can recommend a plant for recognition. Nominations should include a brief description of how the plant uses HART Communication to improve plant operations, better manage plant assets, or support plant information needs. Background information and supporting materials are welcome, but are not required for
consideration. For information, contact HART Communication Foundation, 9390 Research Blvd, Suite I-350, Austin TX 78759-6540 USA; Liz Patranella, +1 512-794-0369, lizpat@hartcomm.org
