Stephen Blair has been appointed Managing Director for Invensys Process Systems in Great Britain. Mr Blair joins Invensys from Silvertech Ltd, a systems design and control engineering company supplying computer-based control and safety systems for the oil and gas, petrochemical and general industries. During his 12 years with Silvertech, Steve held increasingly senior positions from Petrochemical Systems Manager progressing to Sales and Marketing Director. Prior joining Silvertech he spent ten years with Computing Devices, an international supplier of leading edge based technology to the global defence market, beginning as a Hardware Design Engineer and moving progressively to the role of Marketing Manager.
