Crane Process Flow Technologies, a Crane Co. company has introduced its new Saunders ES Modular actuator range. According to the manufacturers, the new actuator offer several clear advantages over traditional linear actuators. Costs of ownership have been reduced through standardisation of the actuator spring cases (heads), and utilising an interchangeable bonnet assembly. By rationalising the ES actuator’s internal components, delivery times from local stockists have been considerably reduced and actuator inventory levels on-site can be minimised.
The ES Modular actuators are suitable for use with all types of Saunders diaphragm valves. Available in several different actuator models covering a wide range of valve sizes, the range allows valve closure against the maximum valve working pressures. Manufactured from cast aluminum and finished using a tough polyester coating, the ES Modular actuator is lightweight and provides high corrosion resistance.
