Compact solenoid valves from Lee

Lee Products offers a range of LFV chemically inert solenoid valves for use in laboratory, medical, analytical, biotechnology and OEM applications. They are designed to have zero-dead volume, to be fully flushable and to resist aggressive chemicals. They include a “starfish” manifold, which is available in a configuration of 5, 6, 7 or 8 valves. These valves, which operate with a 2-way normally closed operation, feature bi-directional flow and contoured internal passages that facilitates complete flushing without damaging delicate samples. The small internal volume reduces the amount of fluid needed to fill the system (transport volume) and so minimises sample and reagent requirements. LFV series valves are also available in a flange mount version, which means they can be grouped together very closely on 13mm centres. The position of the flange, which is angled at 30º to the ports, enables this close grouping and so minimizes the overall size of manifolds. Also, smaller, more compact manifolds means reduced costs, because less material is needed for the manifold.
