FCX acquires Flowserve France

FCX has acquired Flowserve France, the French sales distribution business of Flowserve Corporation. Flowserve France has 56 employees and is located at Cergy-Pontoise and Nanterre, near Paris. It distributes process valves and steam and automation products mainly manufactured by Flowserve Group companies. The FCX Group has also entered into exclusive distribution agreements with the relevant Flowserve businesses for the sale of their products in France, including leading brands such as Argus, Atomac, Audco, Automax, Durco, Gestra, Limitorque, McCanna, NAF, Naval, Nordstrom, Schmidt and Worcester. Flowserve France will be combined with the FCX Group’s existing French distribution businesses, Copmat Voglin and SARMEF and the enlarged group will be re-named FCX France, becoming the leading French specialist distributor of valves, instrumentation and related flow control products with premises in Paris, Lyon and Nantes. Further geographical expansion in France is also under consideration. Flowserve France’s president, Graham Nation will head up the combined operation and Claudine Dury will continue as finance manager. It is intended to relocate the existing three facilities north-west of Paris to new premises.
