Letting toxic tanks breathe

TVD series breather caps from Elesa address the problems of venting toxic chemical reservoirs and tanks, especially during transit when there is risk of overturning and spillage. These breather caps incorporate a vacuum breaker valve threaded to suit a standard 70mm inlet and ensure a complete seal in the event of overturning. The design also allows rapid tank discharge as in the case of fluid transport or in high volume flow systems that can otherwise create a vacuum effect in the reservoir which can slow operation and create damage to the container. TVD breather caps have been designed with speed and safety of operation in mind. They are available in a choice of materials allowing selection of a compatible breather cap to suit the chemicals, including: petrol, propane, glycol, acids and ammonia.
