Subsea 7 has announced a contract award from BP for work associated with the Schiehallion Infill and Foinaven Water Injection pipelay projects, off the West of Shetland, Scotland. Water depths for the project range from 395 to 455 metres. The scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, transportation, installation and testing of both a 10” NB production pipeline and a 10” NB water injection pipeline, respectively. Contract value is placed in the region of USD 12 million. The contract will begin immediately and is scheduled to be complete by third quarter of 2005.
