Finnish companies have recently conducted a presentation titled “New technologies and equipment for petrochemical and chemical industry” for JSC Sibur. The event, which took place on 25 November, was held at the Finnish Embassy in Moscow, Russia. Directors of petrochemicals and equipment manufacturing companies and their Russian representative offices took part in the presentation. Participants at the presentation were informed about Sibur activities and key projects involving the updating of production facilities. Heads of Finnish companies acquainted Sibur specialists with the capabilities of their enterprises. Mr T Laaksonen, Director General of Metso Automation, spoke about the Metso potential in the field of process automation at petrochemical enterprises. Mr M Heiman, Sales Director of Metso, made a presentation on shut-off and control valves for gas processing plants.
