Petersburg Technical Fair

Petersburg Technical Fair, a North-Western exhibition and congress project has finished its work on 17 March. The Fair included eight specialised exhibitions: "Metallurgy", "Casting", "Metalworking", "Tools", "Compressors. Pumps. Valves", "Privex", "Bearings", "PTA – North-West" and business programme. As it was expected, 500 companies from 26 Russian cities and 12 CIS and foreign countries have participated in the exhibition. During the four days 10 700 people from 150 Russian cities and 11 countries (Sweden, France, UK, Czech Republic, Finland, Austria, Germany, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Belarus) have visited exhibitions, seminars and conference. Organisers of the Fair paid special attention to possibilities of business networking between specialists. The business programme was mainly targeted at raising the prestige of machine building and metallurgic industries as well as training of new professional personnel. The Award Ceremony “Leader of Russian business in metallurgy and mechanical engineering” was held within the framework of Petersburg Technical Fair. The Award was given to ten top managers of these industries. In 2007 Petersburg Technical Fair will open its doors on 13-16 March.
