Who buys valves? Almost everyone, it seems! On a recent visit to North Italy, for example, Valve World dropped in on pump manufacturer FindeR Pompe to ask if they were also purchasers. According to Corporate Marketing Director Mrs Susanna Bollini the company does indeed buy valves, which are used in the assembly of turnkey, skid-mounted equipment. Says Mrs Bollini: “Our clients are primarily in the oil & gas, wastewater, chemicals and foodstuffs sectors. The equipment being completed here are vacuum pumps, destined for Iceland. As you can see, they are fitted with both manual as well as automated valves, which we would normally specify ourselves.”
