Hutchinson and Dibley has increased production of their actuator products. The company has stepped up production of its EOJ150701 series linear actuators due to strong worldwide demand during 2007 and 2008, particularly from major gas turbine manufacturers. All remaining production capacity for these units during 2008 has now been taken following the receipt of a firm commitment valued at in excess of USD 250,000. The company continues to offer its overhaul/rebuild service for both rotary and linear actuators currently in service throughout the world. It is also able to offer a spares service for customers who are unable to return units to the UK for overhaul. Actuators made by Hutchinson and Dibley are used in the remote control of critical systems in naval propulsion systems, gas turbines and power stations – applications that include extremely hostile environments where absolute reliability and precision are mandatory.
