Auma Actuators has been awarded a single source contract by Anglian Water. Commencing 1 August 2008, the framework will run for three years and is extendable for a further two periods, each of two years. In April 2008, United Utilities extended its framework contract with Auma to full term and references from the FTSE 100 listed organisation supported Anglian Water’s choice of the modular electric actuation solution for its network of WwTW’s. Under the terms of the contract, Anglian Water will adopt the Auma Matic actuator for new quarter-turn and multi-turn valve flow control applications at all sites in its region. Anglian Water serves the needs of around six million industrial, commercial and domestic customers.
