Continental Hydraulics has introduced a new line of Double Redundant Dual Monitoring valve packages to help to ensure better operating and safer hydraulic systems. Continental Hydraulics offer both Double Redundant Dual Monitoring valve packages and Lock-Out valves to help hydraulic system users achieve monitoring goals. The Double redundant Dual Monitoring valve package is built with two valves. Both must be activated to allow fluid and pressure to continue to the circuit. If either valve is deactivated, the outlet port is directed back to the tank. The valves incorporate spool position monitoring switches and two pressure tap ports. This allows users to monitor the spool position and monitor whether pressure is rising or falling. This information can be used by system monitor controllers to alert of system failure or shut the machine off. The Continental Hydraulics Lock-Out valve is designed to assist in meeting lock-out / tag-out requirements to protect technicians performing maintenance, repairs or set-up operations where a central hydraulic system is providing power to multiple work cells.
