New Metso launch at ADIPEC and Valve World

Metso Automation is launching new smart technology products simultaneously at ADIPEC 2008 in Abu Dhabi and Valve World 2008 in Maastricht, Netherlands in November 2008: The new Neles ValvGuard for foundation fieldbus and the new Neles ND9300 Stainless steel intelligent valve controller. The displays at both venues will feature Neles, Jamesbury and MAPAG valves. At Valve World, Metso Automation’s display will also feature the ATEX-certified version of the Jamesbury CINTAC advanced automation package for rotary valves. The new Neles ValvGuard, VG9000F, for foundation fieldbus is the first TÜV- approved (SIL3) foundation fieldbus safety valve controller to appear on the market. The Neles ND9300 Stainless steel is manufactured in an explosion-proof stainless steel housing and developed for use in corrosive environments. ND9300 operates on every type of valve, on all field buses and integrates smoothly into all major control systems. At both exhibitions, the latest addition to the Metso Automation valve family will be introduced: MAPAG engineered valve solutions in different materials and designed for a broad spectrum of applications over a wide temperature range, at high pressures and offering extreme tightness. The exhibits will include a model of one of the key MAPAG products. At ADIPEC, it will be the new cryogenic valve for LNG receiving terminals with top entry, a valve specially designed for high temperature changes and high pressure ranges which is welded into the pipe. At Valve World, a model of the new, patented rotary valve with double bloc and bleed and steam purging, type MAPABLOC will be displayed.
