Apollo Valves is now offering a new series of pressure vacuum breakers (PVB) featuring a modular check valve design. The PVB 4A Series are part of a new backflow preventer family from Apollo that also includes DC 4A double check assemblies and RP 4A reduced pressure principle assemblies. All three new series are built around a self-contained “captured spring” check module. The checks are interchangeable in the same sizes between all three valves in the 4A Series family. The PVB 4A incorporates a standard freeze protection feature and stainless steel shutoff handles. The all-bronze body of the 4A Series PVBs resists corrosion for extended service life. Maximum working pressure is 175PSI, and the operating temperature range is 33F to 140F.
