Midland mourns passing of colleague

Midland Manufacturing has, with great regret and sadness, announced the passing of Larry Mungiole. Mr Mungiole, 62, Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Midland, passed away on Monday, 8 December, following a two-year battle with cancer. Larry, who was raised in South Philadelphia and lived in Northeast Philadelphia at the time of his death, joined Midland in 1998 after more than 30 years with specialty chemical manufacturers Rohm & Haas, FMC and Arkema in their logistics departments before moving into sales. At Midland, he advanced to the position of Northeast Regional Sales Manager with sales responsibilities for the entire East Coast market. Outside of work, Larry enjoyed coaching baseball, basketball and soccer and was active in Cub Scouts. His other passion was horse racing, and at one time he competed in a national handicapping tournament in Las Vegas. He listed fishing, clamming and feeding ducks with his grandchildren as other favorite leisure-time activities.
