DR Series radial diaphragm valves

Swagelok®’s new DR series radial diaphragm valves feature enhanced drainability and system compatibility, offering a clean, compact way to manage sterile flow streams. The single body valve design with boreline seal minimizes entrapment areas. The DR series diaphragm valves provide a solution for a variety of applications, including media preparation, fermentation, harvest, separation, refining, purification, and clean-in-place and steam-in-place systems. The valves can be manufactured in a wide range of configurations to include multiple valves and ports, and point of use valves. The diaphragm design also allows users to further align themselves with BPE standards, which recommend diaphragm valves. A single DR valve can replace complex weir-style valve assembles, resulting in a reduced system footprint. Swagelok DR series radial diaphragm valves are manufactured from 316L stainless steel with modified PTFE wetted single-piece diaphragms, and available with sanitary clamp or butt weld end connections. The valves are designed for system pressures up to 150psig and operating temperatures of up to 280F. Fives sizes from 1/2 to 2in are available, with a choice of pneumatic or manual actuators in plastic or aluminum.
